By accessing or using SmoothMechanic ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
SmoothMechanic is a workshop management software designed for automotive repair shops. The Service includes job tracking, customer management, invoicing, and notification features.
3. User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- One account per workshop unless on a multi-location plan
4. Subscription and Payment
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay the applicable subscription fees as they become due
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Send spam or unsolicited communications to customers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Upload malicious code or content
6. Data and Content
You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store customer information and that you comply with applicable privacy laws in your jurisdiction.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The offline functionality helps ensure you can continue working during connectivity issues.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmoothMechanic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
9. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
